Cameron been seeing Trump to ask him to let the 63 billion go.
Ridiculous situation.
Can’t imagine it helped ☹️
Watched Blinken & Cameron's news conference couldn't decide which one was more delusional.

Watch again: David Cameron and Antony Blinken speak in Washington amid UK push for Ukraine aid

Is he really, at least he has a plan to end this madness where as Biden etc seem to be happy for it to grind on endlessly, the areas Ukraine are trying to recover have been Russian speaking & leaning so would it result in peace if Ukraine succeeded in ousting the Russians completely.

Even if it was, it won’t be now after 700 odd days of Russian bombing will it

Have you been to Ukraine yourself Brian? What gives you the idea Ukraine has always been a deeply divided country? I'm interested in 2 words in particular, always and deeply, I have to admit, it reminds me of the type of language used by Russias state media
I’ve asked Brian numerous times to ask Ukrainians what they want but as usual he never answer's
I’ve spoke to a few Ukrainians and asked them and it doesn’t tally with what Brian wants to happen

I lived and worked in Ukraine on and off up until 2014 when I thought what happened in Feb 2022 would happen then, I honestly never met a Ukrainian who saw their future with Russia, I never met a Ukrainian I would call a Nazi, I met a few Russians I would call Nazis, and some Polish interestingly.

One of the main causes of the war is that Ukraine was on the up, they were dragging themselves out of the Russian toilet and sorting out corruption and their government. Russia do not want a strong Ukraine next door. Russias foreign policy is to drag their rivals into the toilet with them rather than up their game and their standards to stay ahead

The NATO on our borders story is total BS peddled by Russia, it was never mentioned until Russia realised they needed to start justifying a possible war

I don't think Brian realises how much determination and organisation it has taken to hold Russia back to this point including holding a 600 mile long frontline. If Ukrainians weren't working together and highly motivated it simply would not be possible

I'm sure if you ask the Palestinians what they want you'd get a similar answer but we don't always get what we want, Ukraine are not fighting this alone, they are in effect proxy soldiers for the West & without Western support would be in a very different situation, as I've said if the West aren't prepared to join in & start WW3 then it's a case of making the best of a bad job without sacrificing further hundreds of thousands of lives pointlessly.

Don't talk bull sh!t NATO expansion has been an unnecessary thorn in relations with Russia since 2008 & whatever Russia's true intentions it gave them the justifiable excuse to go ahead & invade when Ukraine kept pushing for NATO inclusion, there was no need for Ukraine to stir this hornets nest up as they as you say were doing very well staying neutral but that didn't suit American defence policy!

I am no military man but the length of the front line as amazed me. Such a distance. I would have assumed in the early days of war that the Russian Army Generals would be able to engage the Ukrainan Army in a few locations a few 10s mile wide and then drive through somewhere else in numbers supported by all the superior numbers of aircraft. But that hasn't happened. So most of the front line must hardly see a soldier or military vehicle. All fascinating from rural Lincolnshire.

You'd almost think the Russians with all they have aren't serious in advancing too much further, they have their defence line border & only want to advance in the areas they want to reclaim, you can't tell me they haven't the ability to break through if they really intended to, if they really can't how the hell are they a threat to Europe forcing Europe to rearm & prepare for war?

How are they proxy soldiers? The Ukrainian armed forces are fighting to defend their own land from an aggressive imperialist neighbour.
