I thought in the current situation it would be rife.plant theft and site theft seems well up and not heard too much about farm theft yet but expect it soon.talking to a friend last night who supplies oxygen bottles amongst other things and he said he is getting bottles stolen from an approved compound and has now moved all his stock into secure buildings.we wondered what people would do with it coming out at 300 bar without a regulator on the bottle.is industrial oxygen differant to that supplied to hospitals

A very common theft is that of NOx- friends of ours who run a vet practice cannot keep supplies of them as they are routinely broken into and stolen by thieves, they presume they are used/sold for those seeking so-called 'legal' highs. Last time they were broken into they stole every gas cylinder in the place, oxygen and the lot.

Spoke with a police officer from Birmingham today and they are not missing the weekend drunken brawls etc. Shop, office and factory burglaries are up but house burglaries are down. Overall their workload is a lot less than pre lockdown.

Rather than the much, much rarer occurrence of things being stolen by people who are not thieves...?
