Back in late October this was pretty much my first field ever no-tilled as we shut the gate and drove home wondering what we had done !!

Is that looking not quite as good?

No not as good but very good for the piece of land it's on which is very poor yielding blow away sand over gravel - it's as good as its ever looked but cost a lot less to get there and with a good oat straw mulch still present is hanging on to water better than it would usually be doing

Looks pretty even Clive, certainly looking across the whole field, no dips in crop, height etc, what variety is it?
