Thickness of steel sheet for trailer floor

quick question , got a hole i the floor of our little weeks 5t trailer , was originally made up by mattress factory with high sides , whats best thickness of steel for floor was thinking 3mm

As thick as you can never need done again

3mm fine for small trailer, did a Weeks 30yrs ago like this and still fine, carted no lumpy hard-core or pig shite though.

This is now getting silly unless you are carting rocks then 12mm might not be enough.
