Apart from my own village, Lavenham and Cavendish, I reckon Kersey has to be one of my favourites too. I always like smile when folks say "oh so it's not all flat in Suffolk then"
Those steps are almost as steep as the ones in the cheaper areas in the O2.

Quite challenging. We spent 3 days in Cuzco and about acclimatising, when you walked up hill you certainly noticed it. On the trek to Macchu Pichu we peaked at 4200 m climbing steeply. You could only literally put one foot in front of the other and my heart was trying to get out of my chest. But our guide had walked in a man of 89 so it is doable and the trek was the best bit for me.Is the altitude a problem??
Newcastle. It's a beautiful city. Quite a bit of blood on the streets, literally, otherwise stunning.
Upon Tyne. There are an awful lot of blue lights though I've only seen the debris the next day. So far I can only praise the place and the people. Kind, gentle, totally unintelligible. I mean I think I know what they're saying then I realise I haven't a clue! I recognise it's English then I get lost. Greys Street in the centre is stunning architecturally and there's loads of places to eat well.On tyne or Emlyn?
Our neighbour's daughter finished a 3 year degree in Newcastle last summer. She had a fantastic time there. To celebrate, some of her Uni mates came down here and they all had a night clubbing in London. One of them lost her phone in the club after leaving it on the table when she went to the loo. They were all saying afterwards "but that wouldn't happen in Newcastle"! Speaks volumes about regional attitudes and selfishness.Upon Tyne.
