Just had a delivery of beef finisher nuts from "For Farmers " I had the delivery note and decided to look at the "recipe" .Two of them caught my eye "products from the processing of Rosamarinus Officionalis , and Curcuma Longa . -- Rosemary and Turmeric rhyzome . Rosemary ? for beef , not lamb , but turmeric - curry colouring / flavouring ? I wondered if they were preparing the meat for it's eventual ethnic use perhaps ?

Not sure which part of that made you smile.
All of it , every last word

The actions of the few who turned history in our fortunes in WW2 as recognised in the famous quote by Churchill

The detail of the surgeon to record the facts

The pioneering surgeons

The humanity of those in East Grinstead taking down mirrors in public places and welcoming the patients

The non PC attitude of staff and hand selected nurses to restore self confidence and rehabilitation

The latter day photos of old men with wrinkles smiling in to the camera having substantially recovered from what would have been fatal burns

If you don’t read the pathos, depth of humanity and detail contained within that thread I can see how you may come to the wrong conclusions

If you’d care to suggest a more appropriate post location I’m happy to consider it

You must have read something different to me then because all I saw was graphic descriptions of how young men received horrific injuries. I am aware of the things you mention but I didn't see any of it in the link. Maybe I read the wrong bit

"The inferno would be perceived only when the flesh on the hands could be seen hanging off like shreds of tissue paper."
"The first thing survivors would remember would be the unrelieved smell of grilled pork stuck in their nostrils."

Every last word?

Yes then you're reading something different from me

Yes Nazi planes shot our Hurricane and Spitfire pilots up. The re-location of fuel tanks from wings to behind engine / in front of cockpit exacerbated burn injuries . That is CONTEXT to the thread. The thread is about the humane and pioneering work of the RAF surgeons who helped many of these pilots not only to live but pioneered both plastic surgery AND humane psychological steps to restore as much as they could for these heroic young men

Every last word but with the caveat that some of what is written is CONTEXT.

Yes , every last word

If you don't read all 40 or so Twitter posts in the thread or use a thread unroll medium, please don't bother to reply again and I'm sorry we just beg to differ

Well finally bought a Class Dommy 98, Don’t know whether it’s right or wrong but the sound of the Mercedes 6 is music to my ears. Keeping the JD1085 and we will have a competition in the summer to which performs best. Dealer tells me the Claas can do better than the JD but that old girl will take some beating. 🙂
