So, Iran is launching a direct attack against Israel as I write this... sounds bad but... if Iran wanted to look as if it's doing something, but not really do something, this is the way.

The IDF have superb air defences, very few if any drones are going to get through; Iran knows this, Israel knows this, Israel hit an Iranian target, Iran is replying in an equally limited way.

Hopefully just having done this will be enough to settle things - remember the Pakistan / Iran tit for tat a few months ago, all quiet now.

Phase 2 of operation f**k up the west...

Phase 1 was Russia into Ukraine.
Phase 2 is Iran on Israel.
Phase 3 (when usa is getting biggest down in phases 1+2) is China attacks Taiwan.

Evil alliance wins..

Makes you wonder if Covid was part of the plan. First destabilise global economy and instill big pain on western countries. Then go for the jugular.

I don't think so based on just this.

If Iran actually wanted to damage Israel and was ready and willing for an actual war with Israel, it would send drones in vast numbers and then ballistic missiles, this doesn't seem to be the case. That written, give it an hour an or so and we'll see if there are missiles to follow - if that does happen, then you might be on to something.

Whether or not, any of the drones get through, Iran will have achieved its objective. Israel will no doubt, hit Iran back directly, and one punch will draw another. The entire region could blow up. Putin no doubt delighted. USA attention such as it is now on Ukraine will totally dissipate. Ukraine could fall…

Israel punched first earlier this month, this is Iran's reply; and the last thing Putin needs is one of his major arms suppliers having a war of its own. (y)
