I would think it would be ok as a transfer hose. Good PU hose is pretty tough if it’s thick enough. For drag hose, I always used Oraflex or Angus Dragmaster.

I know a couple of lads that have some 4” and say they’ll never have it again, find it very hard to get tight and neat on reelers

That is one thing I noticed it looked very stiff but I’ve some green G&H that is the same and I manage ok with that

Didn’t buy any in the end. But saw it at Lamma and it looked reasonable.
