Thread size on a jcb 3rd service

Our jcb 520-50 has blown a flat face fitting, anyone know what the thread size is? It’s bigger than 3/8 but not as big as 1/2 inch. Struggling to find a replacement fitting, local hydraulics spot doesn’t have anything that matches

Well 3/8 is 10mm ish1/2 is 13mm so it could be 7/16 which is near 11mm

Could it be metric? Is there an o ring embedded in the male cone?

Hydraulic pipes and fittings tended to be imperial BSP so unless jcb are using weird sizes that only they know about .

They're bsp , unless it's been bodged

There is a metric size that looks similar to 3/8 but is about 2mm wider on the thread.
don't forget bsp is measured on the bow and metric is on the thread.

Mine are , same fittings , but tbf JCB are buggers for putting odd fitments on their machines

JCB used to be very good at making things standard between models, but now are a real PITA.
JIC is just another option.
I have come across this before

I’ve a 17 plate and those fittings on mine are not bsp! I get the genuine jcb ones. Think they metric.
