A metjeffuk yellow warning is in place for west Wales SW and southern England. with the south and west seeing the highest gusts to 75MPH near coasts and over hills most other places inland seeing gusts to 60mph.+
With spring tides some coastal routes are likely to be affected by large waves, with potential for flooding of properties. Also some transport disruption is also likely, with delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport. Short term loss of power and other services is also possible.
