Weather Headline: Heavy thundery wintry showers some sunny intervals too.

A colder, windy day with sunshine and heavy showers, hail and thunder possible, the showers may merge in to a longer spell of locally heavy rain affecting Wales and much of England for a time which also could be a touch wintry over the hills. High of 10C/50F (but feeling like 3C in the wind)

More showers wintry showers overnight, with a frost possible in well sheltered placers.

Just a heads up for the weekend, we are watching the possibility of a major storm developing, southern England may see a spell of heavy rain & severe gale force winds, while the north may see heavy snow over the high ground, we of course keep you updated at metjeffuk.com and at the famers forum.
