Hi guys

Just looking for some information / practical experiences of a tillage radish/ vetch mix. More specifically sowing rate, % of each in the mix etc

Its for a field trail as part of following crop response to residue treatment and various soil health parameters

Thanks in Advance
Conor

This sounds interesting. Great to see some trial work on this. We have one year of data 6 weeks away from harvest as we speak. No visual difference to be seen in a crop of spring oats between tillage raddish/vetch/pea and a oil raddish/leafy turnip/berseem clover as a preceding cover crop (drilling straight into with claydon)
Please don't establish the next crop by ploughing or if so only part it as I think you will lose a lot of the benefits of the cover crop.
@phil on here has plenty of experience with tillage raddish and vetch

Guys thanks for response, it's a trial I am conducting as part of my PhD project, so it's going to be tried over 3 years
I was interested in the tillage radish for the big bulbous root on it and the vetch to fix n and see response in following crop.

All work I found over here(very small amount) was done on mustard straights
