All very interesting. Watching the programme of how the 9/11 day unfolded and based around how Bush dealer with that day, one cannot blame him for the actions he took which lead to the war in Afghanistan. Having just seen over 3000 citizens wiped out in those horrendous attacks was always going to provoke retaliation. Today it appears they have a President that like so many others wants peace but I feel the world is a more unsafe place now with him in office as opposed to some of his predecessors actually. There are still many favcruons that don’t like the western world and it’s capitalist systems but trying to mediate with some of these nations is difficult if not impossible so we have to be very mindful of this.

And now mass migration is making the world a far more dangerous place as no one knows just who‘s friend or foe!
Bush & Blair were led by the nose by arms companies & senators with vested interests.

Whatever hit the Pentagon that day, hit the dept that was looking into the missing trillions under Rumsfield and his cronies

It may well be. No one knows if any extremists are among the displaced (or self chosen exiles) from Afghanistan

I'm sure that is highly unlikely. BOOM. Never mind. Once the Taliban have destroyed everything that we built and do another mass terror attack we can rinse and repeat. Loads of loverly contracts.

The US invaded Afghanistan and ousted the Taliban who wouldn't give Bin Laden up. Bin Laden/AQ didn't actually trust many of the Taliban, some segments of which wanted to hand him over and believed 9/11 was an atrocity that they found appalling as it did not sit within their Islamic principles.

The USA and the UK should have left not long after installing a new government. Much of it was Blair's fault, the USA had little stomach for peace-keeping or nation building because Iraq had taken precedence.
