Tiny flys in wheat shed, what are they ?

Yes have wings , look like tiny fruit flys

Booklice as mentioned earlier i would say.

Step number 1 get the grain cool.

Whether you can spread and rake in some dimeatrious earth on to the surface of the heap (check rules). Should help to kill them and as said on previous post need to cool heap.

I know we are having some chilly nights but what temperature could the grain actually get down to at this time of year?

What i was told was that booklice eat the mould that forms on the surface of the grain due to damp air (as per this winter) so temp isn't particularly a factor. As such a good stir/move of the heap might well do....

A run around the conveyor system and over a dresser or asperator (if available) would sort them out.

Load outside on a windy day will get rid of most of them
