Tipping the cab on a John Deere 6420

ive landed up on a farm where they've a 6420 with a leak coming from a hose or something else under the cab. He's waiting for someone to come show/help him how it's done, but been he's been waiting for ages and no sign of him and grass is getting knocked down and it's needed. Told him I'd pick all your brains.
What's the procedure for tipping it up?
Pins through the hinge points, undo mount bolts, block it up, wheel off, the step and lift from above? What else needs disconnected?

Should I run a mile?

Pick up hitch cable needs disconnected, remember to check the cab for loose drawbar pins etc, local John Deere dealer had an irn bru bottle fall through a door in the early days of the 6000 series ..........

Some of the standards need the clutch cable disconnected, also on all the exhaust needs disconnected from the cab if its a side exhaust. Remove the left hand step cw the bracket (10mm bolt in cab floor) then slip a bit of box section in and lift it . (Obviously after undoing the mountings and inserting the pivot bolts) I tipped my 6620 cab like this, surprisingly simple.

My 6400 has an auxiliary hydraulic, transmission oit tank behind the cab, that needs loosening to give space to lift the cab. Just remember you need to lift, and stop it toppling over at the same time. Couple of bales of straw on the right hand side just in case?

IME most hoses can be renewed without tipping the cab. The tricky part is to identify which hose is the leaky one. Slacken or undo the rubber mounts and jack the front up a couple of inches after you've removed the floor inspection door. Carefully remove the big silver clad air pipes and you've got access to the hydraulic pipes. You may not even need to lift the cab. Most leaks under the cab IME have been power steering pipes. Remember to tie a piece of string to the offending pipe before removal so you can draw the new one back through and blank the end of the new one before drawing through to stop shite going in.
