You just cannot go where you can with a dual spreaderI’m looking to buy a rear discharge spread approx 10 tonne size . Currently use a dual spreader , most fields have steep bits . Where does the danger lie with rear discharges ? Going up down or across ?
Well you’re in a good position because you half know what to expect,it’s the ones who fire off spreading without thinking that are in danger most.I’ve had contractors spread ground here with them in past with no issues , throughput a rear discharge should suit us better but having never personally used one I’m a bit wary
If contractors have got round your okI’ve had contractors spread ground here with them in past with no issues , throughput a rear discharge should suit us better but having never personally used one I’m a bit wary
Our Bunning seems to have a magic valve that stops it pushing against beaters.Forgetting to turn off the floor when the beaters stop will be another thing that focuses your mind & wallet.
Gear is to big for frost here now just spread it all in july when its really dry now , given up on winter spreading .Obvious, but be particularly careful spreading on frosted hard ground.
You obviously won't be doing this as it's illegal.
Same here. Used to rotor spread scrapings all winter, trying not to make a mess. Got rid of that. Now pile it all winter. 2 days hire of a rear discharge, and that's my years muck gone on hay ground and stubbles.Gear is to big for frost here now just spread it all in july when its really dry now , given up on winter spreading .
