Moved some cows to another field to join the bull. Guess who got left behind?

Thanks, don't want to hold you up, but wouldn't mind seeing what you use there. Have had a bit of scald etc but only had a few hundred lambs so not hard to drag them out and dunk stinky feet in a jar :meh: must be a better system than that though, for my old age:coffee:. I have a good wee race now, about 35 feet long and a good width for 3 lambs, ends on a concrete pad that I could use (y)
how long do they need to stand in it?
Was hard work tring to get the lambs through:mad:, must be the smell of the formalin. ewes go through no problem. Normally use golden hoof.
Can get about 10 ewes in at a push, leave standing in for a few minutes while the next few are done then let the first lot out and refill and so on till their all done. It's just abit more of a job with the lambs.

Clean water wash, before it got filled, took this out this time, had to pull nearly every bloody lamb though it:mad:

You have answered your own question as to why they wont go in with this pic.

The reflection on the water to a lamb will look like a big deep hole.
