Pretty much sums up our Sunday.
Went for a walk, called the beef into a different paddock, found some empty pukeko nests, flew a kite, drew some pictures in the dust with a stick.
Cooked fresh lamb chops and fresh mushrooms on the bbq, and same again for tea :hungry:

Mrs KP unwell with bottle flu :inpain::hungover::sick:

I really fancy the long tiles that look like planks but the plan is for lounge stat to be much lower than rest of house and use the logburner. Possibility then is for tiles to be cold so looking at alternatives!!

Why not use tiles but have floor stat instead of a air temp stat? I know there’s the possibility of overheating the room, but you could have the floor at a constant low temp to take the chill off of them and be more comfortable.

Never knew it was possible, unfortunately screed has been down nearly 12 months and stats have been chased into plaster etc!! Does make sense though.

We use the floor stats in wet rooms, dont worry about wall stats they work well with underfloor ,dont fit stats with batteries in them just ordinary on /off stats less to go wrong

All the stats are hard wired gack to the manifold with cat5 cable. They’re the bog standard round dial type not digital. They work very well. We’ve been in the house for 6 months now just have not yet come around to finishing the main lounge!!!
