a nice enough field left to go to a mess because someone didn't want father to repair the drains... 30 years later :finger: that, sick of the waste.

It was started a few years ago but needed to graze it and the cows undid some of my work:whistle: (plenty space now as I'm a lot lighter on cattle numbers)

there's an old system, a new system, a very old stone system....

And an asbestos water mains... And a newer blue alkathene mains crossing through the whole lot... Only they never patched the tiles unless the water flooded their track(n):mad::mad:

The good bit was I could go up in stages, one section could get freed off and then divert it into the other pipe if it choked up, so the feet stayed relatively dry(y). One part runs, tomorrow should get the other section completed, I'll back fill it and then start to plough it on Thursday ;)

How has the maize season been for you, up there, did you get enough rain at the right time for a change?
I am having a late start to my day job, drilling grass til 3.30am and the alarm went off at 5.50 :finger::shifty::sleep::sleep::sleep:

Rain here today, ideal, will encourage farmers to go to the store sale :sneaky::sneaky:
