Feels like a long day though I've done very little, rowed the neighbour's horse feed up after breakfast

Went shopping, good show of cows today.

milked, then baled up the hay, no sledge as too fiddly.

just hand balled them all into their stable, Thankfully they provided tea and refreshments

Tedding and making a start on stacking 3500 small bales of hay in the hay shed.

Gotta get un out quick, United utilities got eyes like sh1t house rats , just have to wait for the tide to come in

Put 1 in river a few years ago ghillie got a bit upset. Hammered loader tine in middle at each side. Attached rope and it rolled out same way it went in.

I’m proud to say I had no runaways from 650 bales at the weekend

None of my big squares ran away at all even on some of our steeper land @Gator .

If you look carefully you can see the 8210 with the last load of bales coming gingerly up the hill.

Would have been a lot easier if there hadn’t been a phone wire running in the bottom

I had to stack one bale by hand so far - more than usual, must be losing my touch. It fell off the stack.

I think I'd fall asleep going round there, just not used to anything that flat
You've gotta have abit of excitement to keep the blood pumping it's the thrill of the chase

I have done that myself. Used to better when they used string, they hold together. net comes off.takes a bit more shifting then

It’d be preferable yes, sadly it isn’t, threaded through a culvert, along the ditch, then draped along the hedge!

So who pays when you break one?
Overhere they have to be at least a foot deep or something like that
