Bit of rolling yesterday morning.land has all slumped and the bit in the photo is probably worse bit on the farm.then pulling a cultivator through the west bits I left or nearly got stuck in when drilling.may put some winter barley in so something will grow on it.

I’d to think he will ! He got a Saturday job at dealers but this virus will probably not allow him to get a start so I feeling a bit sorry for him as he was fair looking forward to it .

after nearly 35yrs on the tools ( eee gods how long !!!!! ) still one or two tools from when i started in the kit funny how they bring all sorts of memories back when you use them , good luck to him nice to see a lad that fancies getting his hands dirty

when i first started there was a old fellow there (as there always is ) some words of wisdom he said was " if you can mend something or just get it going for a bit longer you will never be out of work you may be a bit poor sometimes bloody cold or dirty or both sometimes " f**k me looking back he was rite

Turned some newborns out, the rest of the field is somewhat grassier than this corner.
Some other newborns just changing sheds for logistical reasons.

all folded the same way with even amounts of string and on the same type of pallets ???
All individually hand folded and put into an empty bag here cuts out the string and pallets saving a few pence
Finally finished the dyke earth moving today, its been another eventful one though
That's going to be a challenge to unload and repair
1 tonne of Gold dust turned up
Dragged trailer No2 out of the shed, 2nd load it bust the tipping pipe @ full tip,covered the tractor, then late afternoon the body decided to part company with the chassis and slide in the dyke, at least the tractor survived, trailer could be in there a while, still loaded, so might have to remove it with the oxy/actylene
Going spraying tomorrow, had enough of moving earth
