How reliably does that work, out of interest? What cover crops are in there, and what will you do with it next?

I'll let you know in a few days :) intention was to flail mow but busy hay making at the moment so the tractor's are tied up. The vetch and pea's are laying flat, some barley has stood back up. If there's enough to warrant then either I we will give it another roll in a couple of days or run our big topper to trim of the stragglers quickly (it won't touch the bits already down).

per Ha
80kg's vetch (two varieties)
10kg's peas (two varieties)
100kg barley
2.5kg of turnips

Direct drill Sorgho Sucro 506 in a two weeks or so,
