Send them in the post in a special freezer box they look amazing especially the cake (put that in the Mrs MTX cake thread)

We’re having a daily video meeting over lunch with my parents and my brother and one weekend Dad and Mam were having some fresh sausage rolls. I jokingly said send some to my brother who’s down in Bristol!! Anyhow we decide she would freeze some and post them frozen on Monday morning. It was Saturday morning when he received some wet mushy sausage rolls lookalikes!!!

We regularly send samples of frozen baking from Yorkshire to Slovenia and it arrives still frozen.

Needs insulated packaging, the right number of gel chill packs and a good signed for delivery service [emoji6]

Well, the summer “cover crop” of “weeds” did it’s job, providing ground cover, protecting the soil, sustaining the soil biology & capturing & saving every mm of rain that has fallen.
Now I have a full profile of moisture & it is time to plant bread wheat into it

i get all the other attributes but how does it save the water please? Surely the weeds just transpire it out?

The way I understand this, covered ground evaporates less water than say plain open to the elements soil - as you will have cover under and around the vegitation which reduces the direct effect of the sun and wind. The weeds are effectively not utilising all the stored moisture, but giving added protection.

Orr, I am completely off tangent :)
