Its the overload button which enables you to override the cut out. To be honest I only ever need it with the grab on. Once you get it over the trailer it won’t open grab due to the weight. No big deal and I certainly wouldn’t do the zip tie trick on my machine

There is a bank of buttons under my right elbow as I am driving and a smaller lot (only 15) in front of me. The top right blue one is the bucket enabled which may help the OP's problem

Plenty of mid-winter mucking out today as it was raining again.
Didn't take that long to do a shed with 3 of us at it- the digger takes out the corners - no hand operated forks are involved in this operation
quite a heap by the time I was strawing up again.

Looking at that cab I'm glad we run a Jcb as they are fairly simple in-terms of cab technology

Yeah it’s always in bucket mode even with forks on. It’s very very rarely needed, but that grab when it’s got a full bite is very heavy indeed, almost in the red light zone even with boom right in.
P.S..... get that dashboard cleaned

Can see day light now one bin is down, move the drier over and take the second down, can’t get drier out until bins are out ,
