I would have screwed the sheets directly to the felt roof , but I guess Hfd is thinking long term - giraffe house ?

When the FIL dies I will remove his workshop and I will have a decent shed for my own use . It looks tall but it's only 12' to the eaves and it's put up,in such a way I can add onto to back of it as and when I want .

Perhaps it was the steel framed shed that was leaking.....and @Hfd Cattle decided to downsize the FIL to a garden shed structure!



Whichever it was odds are he was offered it free or paid to take it away....

I can see what @Hfd Cattle has in mind. Preparing for the future when he has completly taken over herefords hay and straw supplies and starts travelling further a field for stocks and this shed will be one of many to pop up to house his gains from his luck, charm and good fortune

From your other photo today you could have given father in law a tarmac path to his shed as an early christmas present, how can you make a man of advanced years wade through mud ?
