Had a good gang in this morning picking dwarf French beans

I’ve never made hay before without tedding it. Not great quality, but this year I haven’t tedded any of my hay. I only cut this 2 days ago

There will be plenty stock there. Most will be lying in shade. Will be around 10k+ mule gimmer lambs to sell out of the valley this next month.

Recycled 8 inch purlins on bottom. Left over rhs from doors on machinery shed last year used for struts. And lastly recycled 6 inch purlins attached to roof purlins to sheet tin and flashing to when I get there. Things are about to get hectic here ahead of a heap of irrigation since it won't rain properly....

I had a TF42 for sale about 20 years ago that a guy from Pakistan came to look at and make an offer.
I was so appalled at what he was going to do with it not only to get it there, but what it was going to look like when it got there, I refused to sell it to him!

I sold it to a guy not that far from me, who still has it. She is now 37 years old!

2 of the grandkids had their 1st experience of beating in the heat on Allenheads moors on Friday. They reckoned £65 was hard earned

Going again on Tuesday, forecast heavy rain . so might be equally as hard

There was a nice breeze on saturday that took the edge of the heat but we only did 3 drives then got the beers out
Ive been out on the moor in all weathers, there was 1 year when i was loading 6 days a week where it rained every afternoon for weeks.
