Oilseed rape stubble and two shallow carrier passes. It’s actually pretty damp underneath but drying quick once moved. Stuck on the rear tyres most of the morning, but got better as the day went on.Wish I had soil like that. Looks to of gone in in proper fettle
It’s when it gets damper it will take some pulling. Pull my 4m behind a 4220 at 14-20k when it’s dry. Down to 10k when it’s wet. There is no substitute for speed with a freeflow. Anyway, serious drill envy. If I could find a tidy 8m i would snap it up in a second.Started the winter barley today , after a few small teething problems our 27 year old View attachment 1141120View attachment 1141121View attachment 1141122drill worked a treat . We were very surprised how easily it pulled after watching a few YouTube videos of them on artics and quadtracs seemingly making hard work of it , the 8rx pulled it easily at 10k and at very low rpm . Not everyone’s cup of tea but we we keep this going until the weather turns and then revert back to the combi drill . Also the first drill we have had with a filling auger and it’s great , as quick and a lot safer .View attachment 1141126View attachment 1141127
I don’t know how many were made but it’s taken me along time to find a good one .It’s when it gets damper it will take some pulling. Pull my 4m behind a 4220 at 14-20k when it’s dry. The shovel with duels is on quarry tyres and livs on concrete filling mixer wagons with a 3ton tip tie bucket, just clocked 7000 hours, few days on the clamp dose it good to blow the cobwebs outImpressive photo with then two shovels! Liking the dual wheels a lot, especially the different sizing.
I did a mates one of the epicyclic gears had shattered, and jammed it, just changed the one gear and it was away for fraction of the price of a new unit
Sabre gone or still in the drill collectionI don’t know how many were made but it’s taken me along time to find a good one .
Yes that’s staying . Not planning on selling anything. 44m of drilling capacity if they were all going at the same time.Sabre gone or still in the drill collection
