Today at work

A trip down to Kent for the Kent Farm Expo at the County Showground tomorrow.

I was surprised how many exhibitors seemed to be leaving it late to set up, the hall was less than half full when I left at 3pm. Only 5 hours left today and 1 in the morning and some hadn't even arrived.

I always like to be prepared.

Hoping for a good day tomorrow.

We have had a pretty good winter, no really hard frosts and ground not tracking. Much easier to feed sheep in thisView attachment 1168134
End of an era. Too much needing spent now. 19 years old, been outside all it's life, belonged to my mother who found gates seemed to get narrower before she had to give up driving.

That’s an interesting looking repair in front of the rear wheel arch !

Pendleton hill in the back ground .
Pendle hill, famous for witches 🧙 Pendleton is a little village halfway along the bottom of it 🙂
Plus 3 cows calved today, but no pictures. A big Ted bull to wake up to, a giant Angus bull after breakfast and a Ted heifer during milking tonight 😊

Turns out it's a heifer 🫣 (which makes it more of a giant). I was convinced I saw a pouch when I lifted it's leg after calving yesterday, but she peed from behind today 🙄😳🤨

I tested a bit of rust and my hand went through it last year. Garage covered it with bright orange tape and gave it an MOT. It was likely to draw the attention of passing police so I got red and blue spray cans to try and match the colour.
Obviously not perfect as you spotted it.
Maybe should have been in the bodge section.

Hopefully get things drying a bit quicker, hit a blockage about 10m from this opening and been running wit a full pipe for over 4 hours now!, drain is taking water from a yard too so all the rain this winter had turned the field into a swamp!

Best 'notion buy' I've made in last couple o years!, 40 odd meters of hose on it, all our drains are pretty short or hav frequent joints anyway but an hour this evening with it has got probably close to 200m of drains flowing again!

You’re forgetting that you have to wait for them to choose what they want to be these days! 😁
