Is that a Bowlers shed? Haven't seen many other with off centre nests and fold down panels to keep the birds on the slats while young?
Yeah it's a Bowlers shed, we have 18000 in here, it works well when they are young keeping them up the top, this batch have been brilliant, hardly any floor eggs. Partly down to the new lights we put in and partly from keeping them up top for the first few days.

Ploughing some sand right next to beach today. Nice to hear waves breaking at lunchtime
Shame the 'field' was a whole 2 1/2 acres, wasn't there long.

Where abouts in Jersey are you?? My favourite place that I have ever been. Have been coming since a lad and can't wait to bring the bairn next year or year after!! Just love the place.

Fed the ewes with fortnight old lambs 1st come down the field to check boundary and get greeted by some ewes and 3 month old lambs fortunately the young lambs aren't mobile yet, or I would of been wicked if they'd got together!

Then decided to clean the binder as the weather was poop!

Originally St. Clements boy (close to harbour and main town of St helier) me and Mrs bought a cottage in St. Peter as its close to her work. Nowhere is that far on this island!
I remember how small the island is from when Mrs and Me had a holiday over there 15 yr ago and paid for a brand new hire car with a tank of fuel for 3 days and we did some how put 100 mile on it . Didn't see Bergerac's car outside the police station at StHelleir tho:(

Probably should have but i only had chainsaw boots for him to wear (n)
Would recommend grabbing some trousers and a helmet and face shield next time you run past the tractor dealers. Boots are the most expensive bit, the rest doesn't break the bank, trousers and boots do the most of the protecting from the saw as the helmets just for bits of flying wood, dust, small branches etc it wont do much if the saw hits it!
