If everything you have is down to your own efforts I salute you. Did you buy the land you farm
I’m not even going to give you an answer to that! When you feel you have something constructive or maybe some pictures to contribute to this “picture” thread I may take you on. Until then this is the last reply you’ll get from me. Thank you and good night sir.

So moving on from yesterday’s mass debate and drawing a line under it (thanks for all the kind comments guys & girls:)) here’s what happened at work yesterday.

On top of some office paper work the 6630 went back together.
Here’s what the paptos (power assisted pto shift) looks like, just in case you were ever wondering:rolleyes:.
View attachment 794750

It uses two big electro magnets to pull the selectors into gear and spring loaded into neutral.
View attachment 794758

New casting fitted and the end float setup on the shafts. 0.015mm isn’t something you can really measure without a dial gauge.
View attachment 794762

While I had all the brackets off the back thought I’d modify the isobus plug location. I mean, why on earth do they fit them under the couples where it gets covered in oil!

Much better(y)View attachment 794768

Then down at the airport today for a couple of bits. Rad replacement on one of the old rangers, it’s only water on the floor:cautious:

New ASO (airport safety officer) vehicle landed. Giving Isuzu a try to see how long they last! Can’t be any worse than the new rangers I suppose.

Programmed the information boards.

And finally, went to get some mang on some spring barley and it all pear shaped:facepalm: will it ever stop raining:whistle:

Wish it would start raining here [emoji849]

Is that why if I stall the R series the pto defaults back to nuteral on startup?
Does it default to N every time you stop/start it? I’d have to check but I’m sure it should remember which spread is selected, although it will mechanically drop to N as soon as power is cut. Don’t think you should need to re select the speed on start up though.
