Finished the beet, dropped the harvester off and hung the plough on.
Dad had a trim up around the headlands.
I lost a couple of hours while I had a new back window fitted:;whistle but my mate came and gave me a hand after so i was still able to get a decent chunk ploughed and drilled.

There's another shed to the right that I'd have blocked up.
I could have stacked them the other way, but then the 6 high wouldn't be so stable. And I can climb 10' on a ladder without a panic attack!

Are they grass fields which flood most years or arable land? It looks dreadful, I hope you got your sheep of in time. I have never been to suffolk but wouldn't have imagined it flooded so badly.

It’s permanent pasture and it floods once in a while but never to this extent or so often. Luckily there are only 40 sheep on that field, and they are still out there. The water came up during the night. All sheep are correct & present. Last time it got “soggy” we moved their creep feeder to a dry corner and that part never floods. They look a bit like island dwellers but the should be fine .
