Had about 20 mm rain on Thursday & another 11 or so yesterday ( Saturday )
Had a walk through sorghum & mungs today.
No sign of fresh mice activity around their holes since the rain, so that is a positive ( we’ve already put out 700 kg of bait with the plane, twice over 180 ha of sorghum & once on 300 ha of mungs )
Sorghum not far off harvest & mungs are flowering. Found a few flowers on the ground, but not sure if that have been bitten off or the rain knocked them off ? Not a lot, but will keep an eye on them. Still plenty warm enough for mice numbers to explode again

30 tonne of FSS durum seed - enough to plant 500 - 600 ha - in 60 year old Lysaght Silo, NO mice at all in it. Have to admit, I was quite surprised ( & pleased 😀 )
