how do you get on with the single rotor rake the chap that does our silage bales refuses to bale behind one
No problem I go round one way then turn round and go other way on the headland then when doing the centre its up one way and back down the other side.
Not as fast as a twin rotor rake ......but one day .....hopefully 🙂

Still not really haymaking weather here so I am telling myself that this is only topping.

Since the cows only left this morning, they moved to the aftermath next door, this field is coming wheat and needed mowing before it sets too much seed.

Then the weather did what it does.

Here is the last lot I cut 16 days ago, 12 days rain on it so far. This is sunny Essex.

Used to bale for a guy the back of a local housing estate and if he didn’t get the straw on the trailer as fast as I dropped em they were either in the dyke, the net was cut or they were on fire.
Same here. They were already riding round the field on a moped type thing but you daresnt say anything to them .
