Incredible
Better get mine rounded up.
I was talking to a friend in NZ 2 years ago and he was having £185/lamb on farm for lamb to go to China - albeit they were 50kg live. Then last year the supermarket that I supply said they would only be selling British produce going forward - to support British farmers 😂 More to the fact that China had bought all Southern Hemisphere meat after their pigs went and the UK supermarkets had made catastrophic losses importing meat to keep our prices low for a few years.

While I’ve been out and about, the wife has been more than a little busy in the farm kitchen doing 163 of these:

1 of them is destined for the Archbishop of Canterbury who’s coming to Exeter Cathedral tomorrow. As much as possible is home made with our own meat along with other local produce.

I can’t imagine the Archbishop of Canterbury has too many packed lunches these days!

Your wife never ceases to amaze with her creations! I really admire both of you for what you have achieved.

Not bad for a lady who spent 34 years working in IT for the local authority! Very proud of her. She’s catering for a wake tomorrow as well. Good to see our produce going local.

Had to break the DD rules and get the discs out today, OSR didn’t make it through the chopped Barley straw 😢
Hopefully drill it tomorrow, failing that, broadcast and powerharrow then rolls
