Then back at home it was good to see dust rising from the rushes that I cut 3 weeks ago. Nearly 300 bales off 32 acres.

What are you going to do with the bales? I tried using rushes for bedding but it didn't take up any moisture, useless. I you have a big enough freestall and there is some grass in it things might be different I suppose.

Been a better day today ,picking it up really well now, done a few more tweaks .we just stop combining at 9 o’clock so should have a good day tomorrow Taking the pictures in the dark don’t know what they look like, to give you some idea

Pile some pallet wood into it and light it few hours before hand, when it starts to burn down fill it with hard wood logs and walk away. That size will cook for hours

Welcomed some new arrivals, carried on cutting and the baler e link sh1t the bed. I have enough bales so I sold the rest to a neighbour. I’ll deal with it in the winter.
