I normally take the gates off , just forgot this morning.@Wood field
Thanks for that.
Interestingly your photo includes the one thing I hadn't considered until another member of the family mentioned it at the weekend, loading gates.
They're an extra it seems and weren't included when I was pricing.
I wasn't sure they'd be that necessary for a wee trailer but I was over-ruled and told not to buy it without them.
Still not convinced, as having them on renders the lamb door unuseable. But I guess again if they're easy enough to take off or put on probably best getting them at the time.
But busy with the better weather and tups are out for another 3 weeks or that so the final decision is still a week or two away!
Fat Dave ( the dog not me) will as soon as let out , be straight in the field if not stopped , often say where’s Dave and there he is having rounded the sheep up sat guarding themI went to a farm yesterday evening, sheep and arable.
Just at dusk we noticed a collie leave the farm buildings and cross the lane. She slipped under the gate into a field full of ewes. Over the next 20 minutes or so she ambled around the perimeter of the field just gently coaxing the ewes towards the farm. They weren’t bothered by her at all.
Once she was back round to the gate, all the ewes on about 4-5 acres opposite the farm, she popped back under the gate and went home.
I wondered if she did that every evening? Just to keep them all safe by the farm?
Oh dear, another punch in the pocket seems unavoidable then.I normally take the gates off , just forgot this morning.
On and off in seconds to be fair, just an R clip each side
Not sure of the price, we got a good deal that included the dividing gate , loading gates and spare wheelOh dear, another punch in the pocket seems unavoidable then.
That was my suggestion.if you didn’t mind Carrying them two four foot hurdles would do
Nice calves!
