If you are a white Kenyan then it might be a bit tougher. Historically you'd be running a tea estate or another nice well paid job now there's plenty of locals to do those jobs so there's now a few 'poor whites' .It's relative really but where in the past they'd probably have been educated abroad etc and had a nice lifestyle the money isn't there but the aspirations are.

It’s a wonder the incoming main fuse didn’t blow with that overload. I’ve had tenants blow the 60amp main fuse once!

It’s a wonder the incoming main fuse didn’t blow with that overload. I’ve had tenants blow the 60amp main fuse once!

As our meter is in an outside cabinet but too far from consumer box it needed a fused isolator on our side of meter, supply is 80 amp so a 60amp fuse was fitted on our side. I got a spare straight away as was dubious but it’s sat on top of the isolator now since 2017!! Knowing my luck we’ll somehow exceed it tommorow now!!
