Managed to get a couple of hours on my wall. Got some big stones down in the bottom, made it a bit wider. Steady progress, but getting there.
It’s actually wetter than it was the other week when I went up. Hoping that’s going to change 🤞

Thank you, afraid I’m still messed up with poor lung function, C19 is being a pain, 11 weeks in and docs finally decided to start investigating but at this rate I’ll be looking for a desk job 🫣
It won’t be RT but RPA could be tempting 🤔😂
Customers starting to run out of patience, can’t blame them I suppose, am just about keeping up with breakdowns though, but some can’t wait for a service on a fully functional boiler 🤷🏻‍♂️
If you get stuck and need a hand with farm stuff , give me a shout 👍

We were down there couple of weeks ago, real NZ , had an amazing time. Friends son is looking at a farm near Middlemarch.
If he wants to have a chat with someone in the district, feel free to get in touch, it's a little different but better than down in the easy country.

Expectations are much more realistic and the people are amazing, less pretentious, they'd slot in no worries.

Main concern for us was our teenager and the distance to school, would be 80 minutes each way, so we are teaching him from home at present and he's doing so well that it may be a permanent thing . His mum is enjoying it too

Thanks, I will pass it on. He is a single guy in his mid twenties, worked in Mid Canterbury, desperate to get his own farm, most of us have been there!

Know what you mean about moving to rural areas, we moved to Kurow when the kids were in primary school. The people welcomed us with open arms, a wonderful part of our journey in NZ.

Everyone needs to get out of their comfort zone every once in a while!

Hope your move is successful, bit different to the Catlins?
