After yesterdays failed attempt with the discs we have got out the last resort cultivator , 10ft 9 leg c tine from the 60s . We have just got to level it enough to be able to plough the field . In an ideal world this needs fallowing and sorting out in the summer when it’s dry but unfortunately that is not an option . This is not my land by the way all this ex cabbage land is contract work for a neighbour.

Valarium harvest. It’s a medicinal root a sort of natural sedative we are growing for a Swiss company. It takes ten months. The bed sets hard so after topping it we have run the subsoiler through to loosen it then lift it and load into trailers to be taken to a wash plant

Then we are putting a bit of Urea on some wheat. A week of 30 degree centigrade weather is drying things up.
