Fantastic machines in skilled hands

Have you seen the YouTube RAF documentary shot in Afghanistan? Part 2 of 5 shows a Chinook crew on a critical casevac call - they complete a 10 minute start up check sequence in 2 minutes  Just the sort of backup you want in that situation.
Not seen that. Watched one where they dipped the open tail in water to pick up a crew that raced in on a RIB.

It's er distinctive...

But seriously, why? It would look poor as soon as you got it remotely dirty. Devalue the car second hand. And quite frankly, painting an Audi - even a hot one - a lurid colour is like a banker buying an expensive but sober suit. In bright pink.

That car wants to be in a nice discreet metallic graphite.

Been in North Norfolk for the weekend, was meandering through the village of Binham when we saw a sign for raw milk. If Abbey Farm Dairy are on here their milk is superb, haven't had any like it since we sold the dairy herd in 2002!

Nothing beats milk straight from the vat. Homogenised factory milk is a pathetic imitation.

Was struck down with vomiting and diarrhoea on Saturday night.

Sunday was a write off.

Feeling a little better today and able to be further than 4 seconds from a toilet I took my old truck and the spaniel I'm looking after for a ride across some of the unmade roads across the moors behind the farm.

Bit of snow.
Loads of grouse.
Lots of cold.

The Mrs arrived home tonight in a flurry of snow and vomit so it seems I've successfully passed the lurgy onto her.
