Today NOT at work

We were there! I was leaning against the corner of that blue shop building.

It was a great laugh, but thought there was a lot of time between competitors.

Massive crowd there , hope they do it again.
We started over on the green by the toilets but the further away you got from the road the lower you were. Ended up outside the ice cream shop right next to the finish line.
Brother in Law had a great spot by the first ramp although was able to see the full extent of the crash which ended the event early, I hope the driver is ok and it doesn't detract from the day.
First year, no funding, excellent day. I hope now the concept has been proven that the community comes together and it becomes a major event each year.

My weekend was spent supporting my son at his first time competing at Badminton Horse Trials.

You might be shocked at the £££ nowerdays. Some of the rare metal goes for a fortune. My eldest is playing LotR now. I tend to stick to the blood bowl as I can play online as well.

Every now and again you come across a real character by chance

I spotted this outfit parked on the beet pad on the A1088 between Norton and Woolpit on my way back from Hadleigh Show but couldn't really stop with cattle on board

Leaving the village this morning I spotted it again parked up by Will Reed 's Oak Farm entrance.

I stopped for a chat

Andreas Wengel had enough of the rat race and long hours. He bought this lovely 1952 Eicher 25hp water cooled forestry winch tractor still with original winch and coupled it to a 70's German touring caravan.

He's on a road route that is taking him from Harwich to Killarney eventually, trying to avoid as many hills as possible as the little motor struggled

I signed his caravan as have other travellers along the way on behalf of the Two Mills village of Pakenham, West Suffolk and wished him safe travels

I have travel envy

What a character
