Combine stopped for the day, as my combine driver (and daughter) had her graduation at Harper Adams and gave her speech as outgoing SU President.

Then felt old at the party afterwards as I realised the last pint I had in the bar was 29 years ago!

Apparently my lad got married yesterday, only got to know on Friday through a close friend who sent me this picture
Don't know anything about his wife and didn't know he has two lads so it seems I'm a grandparent ,not that I'll ever get to no them .
He looks to have grown up abit since I last spoke to him nearly 20 years ago.
Did discover via his fb page ,he's a paramedic.


Can only presume my invite got lost in the post.

I always think that it's sad when families fall apart - for whatever reason . I suppose in an ideal world suchlike things wouldn't happen , but we're obviously not in an ideal world . I have no knowledge of this family's affairs , but sometimes entrenched positions can occur before anybody realises . Who knows what the future can bring .

So....... tooooo hot yesterday to combine after noon - so in the evening we threw are glad rags on again to try and capture a few photos that evaded us on the big day (including a sunset). The bride was most concerned that people would notice the colour of her nails had changed
