Quick skoot up to the Arena at Newcastle last night to see James Blunt. What a fantastic concert, great songs, great singer, loads of energy, an all round fantastic night, highly reccommended

You would think all this rain would mean I could do loads of painting, but actually ive been busy with children etc. But I had a go at something different last night. Im paiting this in a black and white style. Its trickier than it looks. The a friend suggested I just add a few red accents, like the style of Sin City. So I did.

Sorta work but not. Been building a new cabin after the old one flooded. Ice is getting towards the end of the safe crossing period so trying to make the most of it. Timber frame was todays project.

Brother in the army asked me to make him some blood type patches since I have recently got an engraver working them out on different leathers etc

Mrs NeilO collected her new pup today, a Swedish Vallhund (basically a Swedish Corgi ).

He's just a little bit gorgeous, IMHO.

Around the circuit, there are some challenging ascent ,descent
It open to the general public to drive around in both directions and it was free

In Monaco yesterday and thought the yachts were the dogs danglies been to Canes today then thought they were the dogs bullock’s but Stopped in Antibes and they were the full meat and two veg.

I love watching yachts as they're an absolutely fascinating part of our 'culture', but it always comes with a reality check:

When your family have been bankers for generations, and they've set up St James Place investments. Nat Rothschild's Planet 9, 240 foot, £85,000,000 or £650,000 a week if you're so skint can't afford to buy (and his house in the background, not included) -

Versus when you farm for generations, and your family invest in St James Place (not my choice), €250/day -
