We've grown about 5 acres of Swedes for grazing for many years now and always pull some to give to people, locals, local pub, allsorts. Today was Refuse collection day and I was about the yard so I picked up a small bag of swedes to give to the blokes on the cart, offer them to the driver and he says "no thanks, mate, me and the wife don't eat meat"!!!. His mate had them pronto. I'm still scratching my head.
