It's a PGR not a fungicide (OK it is a combination of two fungicides but marketed as a PGR) so you need to decide if yours is one of the very few crops needing a PGR this season.

You regard it as low lodging risk this season ?
Its certainly not over thick, it looks as good as can be at the moment. Got Camelot, Cabernet and a small area of Picto,Trinity. Camelot a 7 for lodging but we have not had it do so yet. Our man is suggesting it helps pod formation, less petal reflection etc....mmmm

Forget the fungicide element of Toptrex. Difenconazole is rubbish for light leaf spot hence the top up with prothioconazole. I don't even know why Syngenta add the stuff in, other than it needing to be used up. It's fine for Phoma but that's hardly relevant at this time of year.
Because paclobutrazol is available as a straight (although no OSR on those labels), presumably at a good discount to the combination of it and difenconazole, which is also available as a straight. Without adding the azole, others would be able to apply for a SOLA for their product and reduce Syngentas margin? Just a thought.

Straight is for apples, pears, etc so I would say at a premium as fruit products generally are
Don't forget you can't grow potatoes in the same field for 3 years after using Toprex.
