Touchdown Quattro

Hi all, I sprayed off grass a week ago with touchdown, the label says livestock must not be grazed after treatment, is this only the case with using touchdown as roundup etc your allowed to graze 5days after treatment, is there something in touchdown that makes it harmful for sheep to graze, any thoughts on this? Thanks

That means you can't legally use it for grazing after you've sprayed it because that's how Syngenta wrote the label for this product. Whether or not it would be toxic is a different matter. If you want to stay within the law, you shouldn't graze afterwards. I very much doubt there is much difference between Touchdown and any other generic product, just a few tweaks to the formulation, I expect.

Thanks, I was thinking the same just wasn’t 100% sure. The sheep were put into last night so it’s now an experiment in progress

Farenheit is correct, what was the point in asking then, I asked the farmer to remove the sheep so I could get it sprayed, the grass was really good for this time of year, he rang back on Tuesday afternoon to ask if he could graze it again and initially I said yes, but then back tracked a bit that’s why I posted it on here to see if anybody else had problems/issues, I left it his decision and he put some ewe lambs onto it.
