its that time again , where does the summer go ...:cautious:
is your farm en route ...
Borders today Kelso to Kelso.. some tidy farmed fields and trimmed hedges (y)
I'm not necessarily a cycling fan :D but i love the way the countryside is showcased in these events, hopefully the helicopter will be up for a day or two this week.

It's really nice that it comes through the Borders, even if it wizzes past in about 15 seconds.

A few years ago there was a group of pro looking riders on the route the week before the event on a training ride. I was heading into town in the car behind them, and they were doing just shy of 30mph on the flat, and chatting between themselves like it was nothing...

I didn't think the cyclists would want the hedges trimming a day or two before the event.

Surprised the cyclists were drinking coke. Usually very specific energy drinks, they get fined for dropping rubbish/empty bottles unless in specific areas.

Sound like Gentlemen and Ladies of cycling.

Unlike the End to Enders we get each year sponsored by a Dubious International Accountancy company.

They let loose several hundred Arrogant Egotistical Entitled Idiots on bikes who take over the roads for a day.
Their support team are even worse than the riders, if that's possible.
It's only one day a year,
