Toyota industrial forklift carriage rollers

Need to change the rollers on the carriage as one has disintegrated and the others are worn. I have the new rollers, now wondering how we actually go about it.

Anyone done them before and have any tips?

Mostly you need to take a stop out and then raise the whole board out of the mast with another forklift.

is that the steel tab at the top of the mast? cut it out and weld back afterwards?

I would think that the tab should be more easily removeable as the bearings are a wearing part. It was this way with new(ish) Linde forklifts. Maybe search on youtube, there is bound to be someone that made a video.

It might require the mast removed from forklift and take the out bottom.
The bearings are usually straigh forward to change as long as stub shafts not damaged

Thats what i thought, they look easy to do, but getting to them is a bit of a head scratcher.
