Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial - 1 month review

I fancy one but I am the same, strange though as it will be capable enough I would have thought. Amarok the same, it’s as big and powerful as any other pickup so why not?

I initially thought the SWB was 3t and LWB was 3.5t (like the Mitsu Shogun, IIRC) but last time I looked at them (because I do fancy one at some point) I was disappointed to see both are 3t... poor from Toyota given the target market, being a commercial vehicle

For me thats £2k well spent for the comfort alone I would imagine. But, a 3dr SWB probably attracts a difference audience to the Hi Lux. Bigger discount through NFU on the HiLux too.

Certainly for high mileage the local will surely be more comfortable but as a farm vehicle it’s a no go really, unless you don’t tow much weight and like slippery seat covers

Priced both an lc swb and hilux invincible and the lc was £2k more expensive.

money well spent. having had both with the same engine, the landcruiser is a more capable vehicle, despite what VOSA says. not much more money for a LWB either. mine towed a triaxle box of cattle easy, miles better than my hilux or 110 (which was a year newer, and is still to date the worst item ive ever owned). its still not an 80 series though ;)🤣

Be surprised if we get it in the uk
LC 300 series now on sale in rest of the world, not coming to the uk. 3.3 twin turbo v6, so every bogan in australia is trying to buy end of line 200 series' with the 4.5 twin turbo instead, pushing prices through the roof 😂 😂 😂 70 series still available with 4.5 v8

meanwhile in the uk the 2.8 toyota is about the biggest engine you can get in a new work truck. pathetic really.

Very, very pleased...no regrets at all. Just passed 80,000 miles last week, no warranty claims and only had regular service items so far.

MPG long-term average is 31.2....I've had BFG All-Terrains fitted about 18 months ago which has given the economy a bit of a hit.
Thanks
Sounds good
Would you buy another?
