If one takes the piston out of a e.g Chainsaw ,is there a" tracker device" that can be put in the piston chamber,so that if the Chainsaw ,among with the other chainsaws etc is stolen, the tracker can be turned on ,so that the location of the stolen goods can be tracked,by the police or insurance company. Also is their a tracker that could be put in the fuel tank of a Quad bike or similar which could be activated if the Quad etc were stolen?

Plant machinery can have trackers in their fuel tanks now I am told. Petrol is a tough solvent but I am sure it could be done. PITA getting it out for a battery swap mind....

Hide one in the headlamp cowl?
